Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well but for now please look for dogs on your coast.
For your convenience we also have PAID TRANSPORT companies that are available for a fee to get "your" new addition to your area on a guaranteed date.

JESSE has been with us a year now and each day is look that he gives us is why don’t I have a forever home yet?? There is nothing wrong with Jesse that love, patience and a fenced yard won’t take care of. He is very fearful on a leash so he will need to have a fenced yard so he can get his exercise by going out in the yard and chasing the birds and squirrels. JESSE would not be a good apartment dog but a home in the suburbs would be perfect and especially  with a single person or couple with no children. He loves to sit in the recliner with his foster dad and watch TV. Well he sleeps while you watch. He goes in his crate when we leave because he knows he’s getting a rawhide and when it’s time to eat. He loves to go outside with you and just lay in the grass or wander in the yard. Please please won’t you give JESSE the home he craves? This would need to be a local adoption because JESSE could not handle the stress of going from hand to hand and on a leash. The foster mom is willing to meet you half way from where you live and the states that will be considered are TN, AL, KY, GA NC, MS and IN.

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
