Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well but for now please look for dogs on your coast.

You see he is the typical dachshund if not trained right they will take over the house and this is what OSCAR did. He ran the show for that reason we say no children and he has to go to a dachshund savve home. When he's not in control he's a sweet sweet boy. He is adjusting to being with other dogs here(he was an only dog before) so he could go to a home with other dogs or without. He loves to be petted on his neck, sitting in your lap while you watch TV or surf the net. Loves to play with a ball, fetch. Running in a fenced in yard and going for car rides. Likes ice in his water and likes treats but we are cutting down on those until he loses weight. He is also housebroken and crate trained. Please consider giving OSCAR a forever home where he'll be loved but knows he's not the boss. Also we prefer he goes to a family with a fenced in yard so he'll have a place to run and play and play fetch in. Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo.
