Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well but for now please look for dogs on your coast.
For your convenience we also have PAID TRANSPORT companies that are available for a fee to get "your" new addition to your area on a guaranteed date.

Tripod is only 7 years old but he is already showing how distinguished he is with his gray. Tripod was rescued from a high kill shelter but is doing very good in his foster home. He is extremely friendly and does very well with other dogs and cats. He is also good around kids. He has a skin condition but is receiving medicated baths and in a few more weeks we should see great results.

Tripod would prefer a home that someone stays home all day or there are other furfriends in the house. He is a little scared of men but with a soft voice and a touch of love he will warm up to them. Tripod walks well on a leash and would love to have someone walk him everyday. Do you have a place in your heart and home for Tripod?

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.
