Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast or up and down the West Coast. We just can't get them from one Coast to the other but some day we hope to have enough volunteers to do that as well but for now please look for dogs on your coast.
For your convenience we also have PAID TRANSPORT companies that are available for a fee to get "your" new addition to your area on a guaranteed date.

COOPER 4 IS OVER HIS HEARTWORMS AND READY FOR A FOREVER HOME!!

COOPER 4 came from Decatur, AL was turned in as a stray but unlucky for him he was heartworm positive and was not able to be adopted out. They contracted us and asked us to take him. He is going thru treatment now and will be ready for his forever home in about 6 weeks or the 1st of August. COOPER 4 is a little shy at first when he meets you but after a bit and some treats you have him in your back pocket. He is highly motivated by treats therefore very trainable. He gets along with all the other dogs in the foster home and even likes to play a little but is getting more laid back the longer he's in the foster home. AT first he was anxious but has now settled into our routine just fine. He does great in a crate when we leave. Sneaks up on the big bed when we go to bed at night and everyone is settled down. He's doing very well on house-training but still will mark occasionally but with a belly band that stops that behavior. Please consider giving COOPER 4 a home when he's done with treatment, he will repay you a thousand times over.
