BIO:

Hi! My name is Jenna! I am a beautiful red smooth doxie with so much love to give! I love to play with other dogs, go for walks, car rides and play fetch. When I play with other dogs, I love to tap dance around them while playing. I also have a talent of smiling when I am excited! I love to get undivided attention, and I will sit on your lap and cuddle until no end! I am crate trained, potty trained and know the basic commands like sit, lay down and come. I walk well on a leash and would give anything to go for a walk. I love kids of all ages, and love that they can play with me until we get tired!  I can’t wait to find my forever home so I can give all the love I have.

Jenna is an adorable little girl who gets along with adults, children and even cats! She isn’t food aggressive at all, and is completely potty trained. She is happiest when having a belly rub or sitting on your lap. She doesn’t bark, and doesn’t beg for food. She is so deserving of a loving home and can’t wait to meet her forever family!

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $25 fee for the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo.  Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options.  If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.

More about Jenna...NV

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
