BIO

Hannah, Heidi, and Hope are three sisters who were all surrendered to a shelter in Tennessee.  We don’t even know their exact date of birth, but by their size we are guessing it was around July 25, 2014.  All three are being fostered in the same home, and all three have GREAT personalities!  They are each individually up for adoption, so take your pick!  They sleep a lot, like all puppies do, but when they are awake they are full of energy and love!  If you loved to be kissed, and you want a puppy to call your own, then one of these gorgeous girls just might be for you!

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
