Tanner and I are celebrating another "gotcha day" anniversary! Eight years ago, I picked up my sweet baby boy in Tupelo, MS, after volunteers traveled from Tallahassee, FL, to bring him to our home. Tanner is doing great for a 12-year-old Doxie and is really loving the fact that his mommy works at home now and he has her attention 24/7. He has become a little bossy! Tanner and I thank you, AADR, for all you do and have done to bring love to our homes!

Tomorrow, November 10, 2019 is the 7th anniversary of my Tanner 's Gotcha Day!!! ( he was listed as Tanner 2 before I adopted him!) Tanner is doing great at 11 years old and is the most loving, sweet boy . He had a terrible mishap where 2 HUGE dogs got loose from their owner and almost bit him in half, but he made a full recovery with a near invisible scar. Tanner and I are a match made in heaven and I have AADR to thank!

We adopted our little Louie & Louise (aka. April) 5 1/2 years ago when they were 8 weeks old. We have never seen a bother and sister so bonded, They sleep curled around each other at night, they run thru the yard side by side, and even sit on the kitchen rug when I’m cooking with their little butts touching. They have brought us such joy and so many laughs. If anyone is on the fence about adopting, all we can say is go for it. You will never regret it.

I lost my black&tan mini dachshund last July and I’m still heartbroken. I love seeing organizations like yours. One day I may be ready to rescue again and if I do I’d love to work with you all.

I adopted "Little Bit #6" who was being fostered in Lancaster, PA three years ago as of the 14th of this month. We renamed her Daisy the Dachshund and she is the sweetest, most well behaved little angel. She is my best friend and I love her more than words can say. I came onto this site just to take a peak and figured I would sign this guestbook, even though it is 3 years later! Couldn't be more grateful for my sweet baby!

My wife and I adopted Butch on 7/1/2017. Six volunteer cars brought him towards southern IL falling in love with him. It has been just over 4 weeks and we cannot say enough about this little Angel. He is the most loving, curious, awesome baby in the world. We would have never imagined rescuing a better little guy. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped Butch come to our home.
