BIO: Hi, I’m Julie and I’m a part of the Quad squad. I’m a little bit shy and a little bit wild. My brother doesn’t scare me even though he outweighs me by 2 pounds!! Foster mom says I need to ask up front for a fenced-in yard, someone young to play with, and someone home to help me continue learning to potty outside. I promise I’ll do my best!

Mom found her forever home after she was homeless, so now we are all looking for ours.

Look at my pictures very closely, don’t I look like just the sweetest thing? And I promise you I am, and I love to cuddle so please apply for me so we can cuddle after a long day.

Did I tell you I love to play with toys too?!

When mom said goodbye to us she promised that this place would get us the best homes so they’ll be picky, but believe me I’m worth it!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
