Membership/Volunteer

All American Dachshund Rescue started out in April of 2004 as a small group of people in the south that wanted to make a difference in the lives of each dachshund that came into our system. We have now grown to over 80 volunteers in many states of the union.

We think that once you get into our organization and see the good that we do you will encourage others to join rescue across the country. Without you these precious babies have no voice.

Please fill out the application as accurately as possible and please make sure that everyone in your family is on board with becoming a member of our organization. We are all volunteers and do not want to waste your time or ours if everyone is not truly on board with rescuing.

Please contact your vet and references and let them know that we will be call/emailing them for an interview.

Please be advised that volunteers are expected to pay yearly dues of 25.00 due on the 1st of January.

Please understand there are a few policies that we uphold within our organization and these are

All member has to have all their animals spayed or neutered or you will not be allowed to be a member of AADR

All members must have their dogs on Heatworm Prevention if not then you will not be allowed to join our membership

All members must have their dogs and/or cats up to date on shots, including Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella...Lepto optional or you will not be allowed to join AADR

All members must be willing to help with fundraising, working applications, transporting or anything else that is helpful in make this organization grow and help more dachshunds.

Thank you for helping us to "rescue one till there are none"

Diane Irwin, President AADR
