NAME..........................JUNIOR DACHSHUND............TWEENIE/PURE COAT............................SMOOTH COLOR........................RED AGE..............................4 YRS WEIGHT.......................12 LBS ADOPTION FEE..........225.00 10.00 CHIP FEE CONTACT............ nashcat2@bellsouth.net Junior came in with AJ and Cooper, sister and dad from a shelter in TN. They were dropped there by a family member of a very ill owner to all of these. You could tell they had been well cared for but very frightened but now they are fine. Very happy and friendly. They get along with other dogs, don't know about cats, kids are fine(10 ). Junior is housebroken and loves to be out in a fenced in yard and go for walks and car rides. He will make a wonderful addition to your family. He also likes to sleep in the bid bed with foster mom. He is UTD on all shots and on Interceptor and Frontline. He will also have a dental before going to his new forever home. If you think you'd like to add Junior to your home please go to www.ssdr.org and fill out an online application. Out of state and country adoption are welcome and home visit is required. Thank you for your interest in a rescue......

More about JUNIOR...TN

Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
