When we picked up Suzie from an animal shelter, she was a wreck. SHe had just been dumped by a puppy mill owner who no longer wanter to use her. But you would never know she had been in a puppy mill. SHe has so much love to give! Thanks to AADR duzie is now in perfect condition and is ready for the forever home she has always dreamed of. She is a very quiet dog - the whole time with us, she has never barked! SHe simply follows you around the house and looks up at you with these beautiful eyes and her little tail is wagging like crazy! Her favorite past time in the world is to simply sit in your lap no matter what you're doing - watching tv, eating, playing on the computer. She loves to be loved on and to give loving return. She is very small and though she is an older girl, she has great health and personality. She would love a quiet home with loving owners, does great with other animals, and is crate trained. When she really wants your attention, she stands up on her hind legs and just waits.

Suzie is a very healthy girl other than a few small things First, Suzie needs to be on eye drops- she has chronic dry eyes and these drops do the trick. They are extremely easy to administer and inexpensive. Second, she needs to be on heart murmur medication. This also can be purchased at an inexpensive price (anywhere from $4 - $15 depending on your pharmacy). A stage 2 murmur is not considered severe and can easily be treated with these medications. The medication just is there to make sure that Suzie's blood pressure stays at a healthy level so as to not put any undue stress on her heart. Many Many dogs live long and healthy lives with murmurs and they don't let it stop them one bit!

Suzie listens very well - she literally is the perfectly behaved dog. ALl she wants is your love. SHe is fine with other people and fine with children, but the best home for her would be a home where there are no small children or a home where small children only visit. Children over the age of 13 would be ok. Please consider giving this perfect girl the loving home and family she has always wanted. She deserves a good life after all she has been through.
