FOSTER HOME Jerry - jerry.sarlis@gmail.com

BIO: Waldo is the quiet, intelligent boy who is very curious about his surroundings and people.  He seems to really think about things while the other pups just run right into it.  He is a thinker but most definitely a sweet little guy!

Puppies will be dewormed and receive 2 sets of shots one at 6 and 9 weeks. Adopter will be responsible for last set of shots at 12 weeks and rabies

PUPPIES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO GO HOME ON NOVEMBER 23RD. As the puppies are so very small they are NOT available for volunteer/paid transport and must be picked up/ meet the foster parents in Vancouver WA

Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport.

If shipping by volunteers through our organization or paid transporter, then there will be an additional $35

Fee r the Health Certificate required. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

If you have questions about this dog please feel free to contact the foster home at the email address listed above.  We welcome out of state and Canadian adoptions, but we will not ship any dog via cargo.  Please Read Before You Adopt to learn more about transportation options.  If you are interested in adopting this Dachshund please Read Before You Adopt and Fill Out an Application.

More about Waldo...OR

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
