WE WILL NOT HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING THESE BABIES FROM LA TO TN WHERE THEY CAN GO ON A PAID TRANSPORT OR VOLUNTEER UP THE EAST COAST, ASK US WE CAN HELP IF YOU WANT ONE OF THESE BABIES!!

Hello! My name is Isabelle and I would really love to come home with you. I am a great snuggler and an awesome finger chewer and nibbler. My foster mom tries to give me other things to chew on but I much prefer her fingers and toes or my siblings' ears and tails. My foster mom says it is all part of being a puppy but I don't know anything about that. All I know is that it is fun.

If you take me home please understand that I will need work on housebreaking and manners as I don't really understand any of that at this point. I try really hard but I usually forget what it is I am trying to do. You can say that my attention span isn't very long. It will get better but I will need a lot of patience and positive reinforcement.

My foster mom wanted to make sure that my forever family understands that right now I am very needy because I am just a puppy and I am used to having siblings to sleep with. I will have to adjust to sleeping by myself and I do like to get up early so if you are the family for me please understand that.

Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
