Hello, my name is Ty.  As you can see by the pictures I am a very handsome man. 

I have longer legs than some, they make me run faster.  When I got to my foster home, not sure you can tell but I was rather skinny.  My foster mom has made sure I am eating well, lots of exercise so now I'm loving and enjoying life.

I am living in this very busy busy home and love every minute of it.  It’s my foster mom and dad’s home, their adult children who visit w/their children all the time.  My foster mom also watches children during the day all ages from 1yr to 10yrs. “I LOVE them!!!”

I LOVE my foster mom's 2 dachshunds!   We tear around the house and yard just playing away. What a joy it is to be able to run and play in the fenced in yard.

The  cats are  ok, and the African Grey, he drives us crazy, he mocks us and is way louder than we ever could be. Wish we could tell him to be quiet and knock it off like he tells the 3 of us!!!

I love it here but am looking for my very own home. I have to have someone who will love and care for me.  I need tons of toys, playmates from time to time  if it works out, walks and again LOT’S AND LOT’S OF LOVE. If you sit I will be there, I love to cuddle.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
