BEING FOSTERED IN MIDDLE NY STATE........

Suzanna is a very petite feminine little girl. She is very quiet and low key. She does play sometimes reluctantly. She gets along well with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She bathes well and is house broken. She loves all the attention that her human counterpart has to spare. She is good with children and strangers.
SUZANNAH came in with Buster4 and Mocha from the same crack house in central OH. They were used for breeding and the puppies were sold to support the owners drug habit. SUZANNAH is very very friendly, loves to be petted and cuddled and also likes the big bed. She is housebroken and loves to be out in the fenced in yard just enjoying the outside. She would do well with another dog to keep her company. She is UTD on all shots, heartworm negative and on Interceptor and frontline. SUZANNAH would do well with children probably 8 and up since she loves attention. We don't know about cats. Please give SUZANNAH a good home for the rest of her life she will repay you in kisses and tail wags.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
