BEING FOSTER IN MIDDLE TN......
ONCE MOCHA PUTS ON SOME WEIGHT AND GROWS HER HAIR BACK THAT WAS CUT DUE TO SO MUCH MATTING SHE IS GOING TO BE A BEAUTIFUL CHOCOLATE LONGHAIR MINI!! MOCHA came in with Buster4 and Suzannah from the drug bust in central OH. She is very very thin and was being picked on by the other two. Now that they are all here they don't seem to bother her as much but they must have not let her have the food. Here she is getting fed twice a day and a very good quality of dog food which she wasn't at her last home. She also had worms at the old home but we've cleared her of all that and she is slowly putting on weight. MOCHA is very very sweet but a little on the shy side. She does warm up after while. Because she is so shy we suggest a home with no children and on the quiet side. She is house broken and loves to cuddle on your lap and likes the big bed. She would do great with another male or female as long as they didn't pick on her like Buster and Suzannah did. She is very submissive. This little girl is too sweet to stay homeless please open your heart to her today. She is UTD on all shots, heartworm negative and on Interceptor and Frontline.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
