BIO:

Hello, My name is June. My foster mom thinks I am a cutie. I am very lovy, curious and fun. I love to play. There are a lot of toys here. It's getting nicer so I am going out two or three times a day. The sun feels good.

It's very busy here. They have two dachshund their MUCH bigger than me. The cat is even bigger than me. He doesn't like me much. Than they have this bird who tells us to be quiet and scolds us.

What I am looking for is a wonderful loving, friendly, spetacular home. I don't need to be the center of attention, but hey if you want me to be that would be awesome. My schedule now is, I eat I play and I sleep. I am just looking for the best forever home there is. Oh and by the way I am puppy pad trained. Check my pictures don't you agree with my foster mom assessment?

If you should have any questions at all please ask, she loves to talk.

More about June...PA

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
