BIO:

Gabby is the sweetest little boy I have ever met.  He has no issues with anything in life.  Happy to be outside in the fenced in yard running with abandon and throwing himself on the grass and rolling.  He had absolutely no access to the great outdoors in his first home and enjoys chasing moths and bugs.  He is handsome and eager to please.  Comes when called and sits and begs. His only stipulation is that he has never been apart from his sister since birth.  They sleep together, eat together, cuddle together, and run together.  He really needs to be adopted with her to enjoy a life with a family that will love him and his sister.

Chyna is like a little china doll.  Beautiful and eager to please you. She has no issues with anything in life.  Happy to be outside in the fenced in yard running with abandon and throwing himself on the grass and rolling.  She had absolutely no access to the great outdoors in her first home and enjoys chasing moths and bugs.  She rolls on her back and loves to be rubbed.  Comes when called and sits and begs. Her only stipulation is that she has never been apart from her brother since birth.  They sleep together, eat together, cuddle together, and run together.  She really needs to be adopted with Gabby to enjoy a life with a family that will love the both of them.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
