BIO:Hello all, my name is Bradley! I came to AADR as a stray so nothing is known about my past.
He came in underweight with bad teeth, skin problems, and not neutered. Bradley has been in my foster home for a few weeks now after all his vetting was complete and he is doing well with the other dogs and cats in the home.
He is housebroken to a doggie door so if his new family doesn’t have one, he will need a refresher course. Also, if it’s raining he will be glad to use the pee pads. Bradley LOVES to cuddle and his favorite spot is on the couch on a pillow. He does love the chance to sleep in the Big Bed but he also does well in his crate. Bradley is a very smart boy and loves to cuddle. He is eating well so he has filled out with the weight he needed to gain. He loves going places and rides great in the car! Bradley does let the other dogs know when he doesn’t want them in his space (haha); what dachshund doesn’t. He is WONDERFUL! All Bradley needs at this time is his VERY OWN Furever Home!!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.
Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
