DUNDEE IS DONE WITH TREAMENT AND WE CAN'T BELEIVE HE HAS NOT BEEN SNAPPED UP ALREADY, NO ISSUES, HOUSEBROKEN AND LAID BACK WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR IN A DACHSHUND. BEING A DACHSHUND THAT MAKES HIM PERFECT, AS PERFECT AS A DACHSHUND CAN BE ANYWAY!!

DUNDEE also came from the delta of MS and is heartworm positive and will have to go thru two heartworm treatments. He has one under his belt with one more to go the 7th of Nov and should be ready for his forever home around the 15th of Dec. He is a sweet sweet boy, little unsure at first but warms up quickly. Will be beautiful when he gets his wight back on. He likes to play with the other dogs and gets along with male and females. I would say kids over 10 would be find that know how to treat an animal with respect. Fenced yard is a must as he loves going out and playing in the yard and hunting the birds. Please keep an eye on him and put your app in for this sweet sweet boy you won't be sorry.
Out of State and Canadian adopters are welcome. We do not ship our dogs cargo. You will have to make arrangements to pick up the dog or for them to go by ground transport. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN A RESCUE.

More about DUNDEE...CT

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
