Lil Bit #5 RIP 12/20/16
> Hello, my husband and I were honored to have been approved to adopt lil bit #5 in December 2014. I am grieving beyond words to report that we lost our sweet, sweet Lily on a Tuesday. On Saturday lily was suddenly had no use of her hind legs. We immediately rushed her to a specialist in Nashville and we all thought it was IVDD but we had to wait for the neurologist to confirm on Monday. After a CT scan we learned that our tiny baby had a large tumor on her spine. We were told she would never walk again, the tumor would continue to grow, she was and would be in a lot of pain and would have no quality of life. We couldn't help but be selfish. We needed to see our baby, hold her, tell her how much we loved her and finally tell her goodbye. We lost our tiny love and are devastated from our loss.
> I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for allowing us to love this angel for almost two years. She was the sweetest baby I've ever had. I've always loved my babies as they are a huge part of my life and our family but Lily was different. I don't know if I will ever fill the hole that is left in my heart. My husband and I have sobbed and sobbed until we were sick. We are still trying to wrap our heads around this.
> Sorry to babble and thank you so much for giving us one of the greatest gifts either one of us will ever receive.

Hurley 12/05/16
RIP sweet Hurley from the demons that haunt you and may you forgive the humans that abused you so badly...we are just so sorry we couldn't help you heal....
Duchess RIP
You never stood a chance against the dreaded Parvo because your owners didn't think enough to get you your shots...RIP baby girl
Duchess and Kiara's 4 puppies
I'm so very very sorry we could not save you all...if only the owners would have given your mom and Duchess their shots you'd still all be with us but that doesn't mean our hearts don't ache for your loss....RIP
BamBam RIP
I just wanted to let you know that our beloved Bam Bam who we adopted from you in July of 2003 has passed away today. She was a wonderful little Princess, pampered, and loved for over 13 years in our family. She was a great little partner to our other dachshund Freddie, who was with her when she passed away today.
Bam was happy and healthy up to the last several of days when she stopped eating and was diagnosed with kidney failure with no hope of recovery. Therefore, we decided not to have her suffer and decided to put her to sleep at our local veterinarian hospital.
Bam traveled with us from our home in Ohio to upstate NY where she has lived with us in our cabin near the Adirondack Mountains for the past 8 years. She loved to cuddle up with us on the sofa by the wood stove and she danced when it was dinner time. She traveled with us on vacations and most recently on a month long camping trip this past summer all the way to the Yellowstone National Park and back!
Thank you so much for having Bam Bam in our lives. Photo is of Bam Bam snuggled by her buddy, Freddie(black and tan). She will be greatly missed.
