River RIP
With a heavy and broken heart, I want to let you know that River has passed away. He was such a sweet boy and I miss him sooo much.
If it weren’t for your help with getting him here to me in Colorado, I would not have had the honor of having this sweet little guy in my life for the past 8 years.
Here are a few pictures of him...
Best,
Marsha
Dudley RIP
Dudley captured our hearts from the moment he arrived on his first visit with Betty. Ironically, that date was March 17th, the exact day he crossed the rainbow bridge five years later. We loved every minute he was with us and are so thankful he was put in our lives. we called him “Mr. Personality” as he was so totally low key and relaxed. He never got in a hurry, and if he had been a person he would’ve worn a smoking jacket and smoked a pipe. He didn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, and we miss him every day.
Thanks to AADR and the work you do.
Ruben 3-7-2020 RIP
Ruben (one of the Madison 9) crossed the rainbow bridge this morning, March 7, 2020. He was my everything! Every step I took, he was right there. He was SO loved and such a happy boy. He was the love of my life! He was the most loving and loyal baby ever! I will miss him dearly and a part of my heart went with him but I'm so blessed he was mine for six years!!!! RIP my sweet angel!
Choo Choo (Cricket)
In loving memory of my sweet girl Choo-Choo (aka Cricket). I adopted Choo-Choo from AADR on August 21, 2014. I'd lost my wirehaired dachshund, Buckwheat, 5 months earlier and I was lost in grief. Cricket turned out to be my "therapy dog." After 5 months of crying daily, Cricket stopped my crying the minute she walked into my house. She loved to cuddle and give lots of kisses. She loved to snuggle when watching TV, get under the blanket next to me when we slept at night, and had a very faint little quiet snore that would lull me to sleep. She enjoyed a few vacations to the beach and got to see the Atlantic Ocean, quite a thrill for this little sausage dog from Chattanooga Tennessee! I lost her on November 5, 2018 and I miss her every day.
Cokie RIP
We adopted Cokie (aka Ladybug) in September 2011. She was the sweetest little chocolate and tan dachshund and we fell head over heels in love with her. Unfortunately our little Cokie passed away February 29th from Cushings disease. Seems like 8 years and 5 months was not enough time. Now she is with her sister Cinnie and brothers Auggie and Frankie. Rest In Peace sweet baby girl. We miss and love you so much! see you at the Rainbow Bridge!
Rina and family
