BamBam RIP
I just wanted to let you know that our beloved Bam Bam who we adopted from you in July of 2003 has passed away today. She was a wonderful little Princess, pampered, and loved for over 13 years in our family. She was a great little partner to our other dachshund Freddie, who was with her when she passed away today. Bam was happy and healthy up to the last several of days when she stopped eating and was diagnosed with kidney failure with no hope of recovery. Therefore, we decided not to have her suffer and decided to put her to sleep at our local veterinarian hospital. Bam traveled with us from our home in Ohio to upstate NY where she has lived with us in our cabin near the Adirondack Mountains for the past 8 years. She loved to cuddle up with us on the sofa by the wood stove and she danced when it was dinner time. She traveled with us on vacations and most recently on a month long camping trip this past summer all the way to the Yellowstone National Park and back! Thank you so much for having Bam Bam in our lives. Photo is of Bam Bam snuggled by her buddy, Freddie(black and tan). She will be greatly missed.

Cookie RIP
From Jennifer: A little after 11:00 am this morning, our beloved Cookie had a heart attack while at the vet for her annual checkup, and she slipped away, unable to be revived. Adopted from Decatur, Alabama in 2006, following Hurricane Katrina, Cookie had an understandable, lifelong dislike of water, as well as a lifelong suspicion of Michael, who never once gave her any reason to doubt him. Cookie was always a Mama's girl, sticking by my side wherever I'd go, and snuggling up next to me in bed at night to sleep. Her favorite thing to do in the whole world was to go to Grandma's house, because Grandma knew how to rub Cookie's head just the right way, and because Grandma was an excellent cook, making chicken and rice for Cookie every time. Cookie will be terribly, horribly missed.

Prissy
October 23, 2016 -- It is with a very heavy heart that I have lost my precious 16 year old dachshund Prissy. I adopted Prissy from All American Dachshund Rescue over 10 years ago and loved having her be part of my family. I knew I had to let her go over the Rainbow Bridge when her little body was given out and didnt want her to be in pain. Prissy was mommy's little talker and it was a great pleasure to be your mom. Prissy you will always be in my heart and know that you were always loved! Until I see you again love you!
