LOU
Lou meant so much to so many! We adopted Lou to get my Clark up. Clark was a long haired dachshund who just had back surgery and would not try to walk. Lou got him up and walking and they were inseparable for their entire lives (12 Years ! Clark died of stomach cancer one year ago. Lou was one year behind. I am going to write a story about these dogs who meant so much to me and have caused me to try to help other dachshunds. . Lou and Clark were out of this world and they WERE LOVED! They could not have been more important to us and they could not have been loved more! Wendy Mendola

WENDY
Wendy was adopted May 20, 2005 at the age of 8 or 9. Today she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. She was my baby, companion and cuddle buddy. A sister to Mason and then Gretchen, and friend to many foster siblings. She will be greatly missed! I love you Wendy! Carol Lee

SHELBY
My baby Shelby was a great blessing in my life whose life was taken by Lymphoma. She would have been 12 years old May 1 .. i bought her when she was just a wee pup. She was loved beyond measure as her love for me and was not just a dog but a human one ... a child. She was special and funny too .. i miss her so much and hope Lord Willing to see her again. I have your pics upstairs and down so i can still see your loving face. I love you Shelby .. you will not be forgotten and will always be in my heart. Sissy misses you too ... it isn't the same here without you. Love Always, Mommy .. :)

VELVET
Just wanted to let you all know that Velvet passed away yesterday morning. She was her normal self up until Sunday. I could tell she wasn’t feeling well Sunday and chosen to lay in her bed all day, which for her really wasn’t that unusual, she loved to be under the covers in her bed and sleeping. So up until Sunday our days where pretty routine. Thank you all for getting her to me. I can easily say the last chapter of life was great. She was truly a very unique wiener and brought us much happiness. Once again, thanks for helping bring her into our lives. We will miss her! She was a master of breaking in the laundry basket and stealing all the socks.

Hayden
Hayden, We are so sorry we couldn't fix what was wrong but we tried and we know that you were grateful for all we did. We just wish we didn't have to say good-bye but we know you are finally running pain free and whole at the rainbow bridge where you'll meet JoAnn and I again some day. Diane
