Chelsey, you were already 13 when your mother got sick and you came to live with me. We all loved you but you had a special bond with my dad and spent many hours in the chair with him. I know you aren't waiting on me at the bridge because Dad got there before you did. Even though you were only with me for a few years, you’re missed. It was knowing and loving you that opened my door to the four new senior babies that live with me. People ask how I can take dogs like you knowing I’ll lose them in not so many years. I ask how anyone could not fall for such beautiful gray faces like yours.
