BIO:

My name is Faith and I am one of Mary Jane’s puppies.  We were rescued from a home with lots and lots of other dogs.  I got to stay with my mom and my sister though.  I am absolutely ADORABLE!  I just got weighed today and I weighed a total of 1 pound and 8 oz.  I am getting big and getting big fast!  My legs are taking me all over the place right now.  My new foster home is the best!   I get held a lot and am told I am a sweetie!  I love to give kisses!  I will be all set and ready for my new home in about 5 weeks.  I can’t go home until I am 9 weeks old I am told.  So if you want me to be your best forever friend, fill out an application on me.  Until then, I am happy with my mom, Mary Jane, and my foster parents. They are cuddling me every day getting me ready for my new home!  I can’t wait!

We have now been approved to adopt and transport into the state of Massachusetts but there are guidelines the organization and adopters must follow. If adopting and before filling out the adoption form please e mail aadrpresident@gmail.com to get the guidelines and expenses that must be followed.

AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund's back or get bitten.

Please don't let the distance stand in your way of finding your newest best friend. We have volunteers that will help your "new friend" get up and down the East Coast and mid-west. We just can't get them from one coast to the other. For now, please look for dogs on your coast.
