Hi everyone, my name is Bubba and I have one of the biggest hearts around! My foster mom thinks I'm pretty special because I am friendly, sweet and affectionate. I have been getting along very well with my foster brothers and sisters(both dachshunds), almost like we have known each other our whole lives. I slept in the "big bed" last night, right next to my foster mom, but I would also be okay sleeping on the floor in my own bed and have been very well behaved in my crate when my foster mom needed to leave the house to run some errands. I love to walk and am very good on a leash as well as in the fenced in dog park for small dogs that my foster mom has been taking me to. My foster mom put puppy pads down on the kitchen floor for me but guess what? As long as I am on a regular schedule, I do all of that "business" outside. Who could ask for anything better? I am looking for my forever home and hope you will choose me, beautiful Bubba. I do well with adults and children over the age of 10 but don't think small children would be the best match for me. I also do well with other dogs but am not sure about cats unless they are dog savve! My foster mom and I are hoping you may be the one to adopt me and give me that forever home I long for!
Bubba J. came from TN then went up to CT to his forever home but his owner up in CT fell ill and could not give him the time and attention he needed so she reached out to reach and AADR was there to help her and him so back down to TN he came. He does have mild separation anxiety but other dogs in the home and crating him when gone and he'll be fine. Not suited for apartments because he could kick up a fuss for a bit after you walk out the door. He is great on house breaking skills and will make a great family addition. He does prefer women over men but we feel that's because he belonged to a single lady in CT.

Hello there, Bubba here. Want to say thank you for taking the time to read about me. I have been with my foster family for a week now. I was a little hesitant at first and took a few days to settle in. Now I am romping and playing. My foster home has two dogs Roxie and Nick. Their cute and good looking but I am handsome. They also have a cat Alex. I wanted to check him out, he doesn't care for me. He scratched me twice, now I just stay a way. I like yard with fences. They had their yard reseeded so now I have to go out on a leash, gosh darn, but I go out do my business and that's ok. I walk great on a leash and enjoy walks. Children, lets be honest, I do not like young children, their way to noisey and quick for me. Older children maybe but can't promise. Strangers, their ok but takes me a while to warm up. This house is busy. I am a little hyper at first, drove my foster mom crazy for a couple days, followed all day, now I just chill out with the others, we work hard all day, don't you know. Lol Let's talk about this crate thing do not like them. I will go into one, but not happy and certainly not all day. I am looking for a home that will love and care for me, I want to be just another family member. If you want to know more about me, please email my foster mom Celeste, she will answer any questions you may have, she loves to talk. Thank you for taking the time to read about me.
