Lola RIP
Our Lola was 3 months old when we adopted her. She was the most loving and perfect dachshund a family could asked for. She loved to swim, play lifeguard to the grandchildren, loved chasing her balls and chasing the creatures (squirrels) out of our fenced yard. Life changed for Lola about 5 years ago with many health issues included type I diabetes. Still she was her spirited self until the last six months. Discovering too late that she had bile duct liver cancer, Lola made her way to the Rainbow Bridge. She was so loved by the Porter family.
Petey...RIP
On May 6, 2010 I adopted Petey. I remember picking up this scared little man at a rest area in NH. Fifteen years later after a long and happy life he unexpectedly passed away. He was the best boy and I will love and miss him every day.

Cisco
From February 2025. What a beautiful boy. I wanted you to know Cisco, adopted 2-29-2020, crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. I am heart broken. He gave me so much love in the last 5 years. I am forever grateful to him. I will miss his bunny hop and chunky paws forever. Thank you for allowing me to share my everything with him. I loved him so much.

Joshie, RIP 2/5/2025
Our “love bug” Joshua came to us from AADR in January 2015 at the spry age of 5. We affectionately called him Joshie. He recently passed away on Feb 5, 2025. He gave us such love and joy that words cannot express how much he meant to us. He had a wonderful second chance at life and definitely lived life like the king he was. He was a gentle, kind soul and was genuinely loved by all that met him. He was diagnosed with Pancreatitis in 2022 and overcame the odds for another three years. He fought the fight and lived life to the fullest, but now he can eat whatever he wants and play without being in pain. Until we meet again…..always in our hearts, you were the best boy.
