Buddy
Look at that “Handsome Dude” Buddy was my sweet boy. Tossed at the pound by the ones who owned him for almost 10 years. Thrown away like yesterdays newspaper. This sweet boy had lots of love to give and a lot of life left to live. For the last five years he has been our boy. He went to work each day and greeted the customers with barks. Customers would drop by just to see him and his sisters Sunshine and Gidget then Gertie. He was sooo loved by us and will be deeply missed by many. Time was short for us, but we loved every second with this little dude. It is comforting to know that he is now running free of pain with his little sister Sunshine at the rainbow bridge, who also left us 2 years ago. We miss you both very much, you will always be in our hearts.
Sisters Gidget & Gertie, Mommy Jennifer and Daddy Larry.
Heidi
In memory of Heidi who passed in January 2009. A faithful friend and member of the McGee family for fourteen years.
SNUGGLES
SNUGGLES THANKS FOR BEING WITH ME, YOU WILL BE MISSED BY ALL OF US. I WILL SEE YOU AT THE RAINBOW BRIDGE.
LOVE U CATHY
Merryweather(Miss Claire)
Merryweather (Miss Claire) did nothing but produce puppies for her first six years but her big break came the day that Diane took her away from that life. Poor little girl was not healthy and despite everything, didn’t live quite a year after she came to AADR. We take comfort that in her last year, she was loved. She is missed. She joins Lucy, Rex, Priscilla, Baby, Charlie, Molly, and Chelsey in the group of dachshunds I hope to find waiting for me at the bridge. "It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." (author unknown) - Sharon Blanton
Abby
Last week Abby went to that doggie heaven in the sky. Every effort was made to keep her happy and comfortable but we finally reached the point and sympathetically and with feeling we lost her. I cried for two days. I want to thank you for six wonderful years with her—she was a love and she will be remembered. Fondly, Georgene Slepin
